Go Kart Racing - Started racing Go Karts at Hunterstown Speedway at the age of 7. Raced Restrictor Plate 425 class and was track champion at Hunterstown speedway in 1997. In 1998, I finished 3rd in points for the State of Pennsylvania and 4th in points for the State of Virginia. I finished 5th place in 2000 in the World Kart Association. (Junior Champ Class) In 2001, I placed 4th in the Champ Class for the PA Dirt Kart Association.

 
Sprint Car Racing - Started racing 358 Sprint Cars in 2003 on local speedways with the KARS organization.
 
In 2004 I finished, 18th in points at Lincoln Speedway and 15th on the KARS circuit.In 2005, we had many good finishes and ended with 20th in points at Williamsgrove Speedway and 17th at Lincoln Speedway. 
 
In 2006, we won our first "A" Main feature event at Williams Grove and ended the year 17th in points at Williams Grove Speedway and 12th at Lincoln Speedway. I also received THE MOST IMPROVED DRIVER award at Lincoln Speedway in 2006.
 
The 2007 season had better starts and finishes ending 7th in points at Lincoln Speedway and 11th in points at Williamsgrove Speedway.
 
Adam Wilt and the entire Wide Open Motorsports team are geared up and ready for another exciting 2008 racing season.  Adam will be back in the familiar Lee Chassis, McKinley powered #15 358 sprint car. He will be racing all events at Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedway and will pick and choose other shows along the way.  Adam will also be debuting in a selected number of 410 sprint races at Lincoln Speedway.
