January 28th, 2010By Chuck Gurley – The Evening Sun
York’s Adam Wilt, he of the newly-minted National Sprint Car Hall of Fame North American 410 Sprint Rookie of the Year honor, wants to win more super sprint races.
However, to get to victory lane, Wilt’s Wide Open Motorsports No. 15 team will be looking to a new face to get the job done.

For The Patriot-News
Adam Wilt was the top rookie at Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedways last season and was recently named the national 410 sprint car rookie of the year.

Wilt, who turns 23 on Feb. 5, led many feature laps at Williams Grove before finally getting to victory lane in a 20-lap feature on Aug. 21. He won again on Sept. 18 in a full 25-lap main event. His best finish at Lincoln was a runner-up. Read the rest of this entry »

National Honor For Adam Wilt!

The thought of being named the National 410 Sprint Car Rookie of the Year never crossed Adam Wilt’s mind when he strapped into his sprint car for the 2009 season.
But after a rookie season that saw him visit victory lane at Williams Grove Speedway two times, finish in the top 10 numerous times and win Rookie of the Year awards at both Williams Grove and Lincoln, the voters in the National Sprint Car Poll felt that Wilt was deserving of the national Rookie of the Year award for the 2009 racing season.
Wilt, 22 of York, was officially named the Rookie of the Year last week and will receive his honors this spring when members of the National Sprint Car Poll come to Pennsylvania. Read the rest of this entry »
