1st Feature – Started 16th and was on the move to finish 9th.

2nd Feature – Started 9th and finished 13th.

This weekend the Wide Open Motorsports Team will be at Williams Grove Speedway for the Outlaw Tune Up and Lincoln Speedway for the Kenny Weld Memorial.

problems with MSD box not firing, unable to start the feature

Lincoln Speedway – Started 5th in heat and finished 7th moving to
consolation race. Adam started 3rd in consy and finished 2nd qualifying for
the feature event. The #15 sprinter started 20th in feature, had a nice run
finishing in 6th position!

The Wide Open Motorsports Team will be racing at Williams Grove and Lincoln

Adam was able to start feature race as a provisional due to his points at Williams Grove. The #15 sprinter started 28th and ended the feature with a 17th place finish.
 
Saturday – Williams Grove WOO – Rained Out

On to the consy…..started 4th and finished 4th qualifying for the feature. Adam started 13th in the feature and struggled with the car to end the night with a 21st finish.
 
Lincoln - Started 4th in the heat and won the event moving on to the feature. The car was fast all night and the team looked forward to the feature. Adam started 4th and on lap 6 took the lead lap. As Adam was fighting through lap traffic, the 2nd place car was closing in. On lap 19, Adam made a move to go on the outside to pass a lap car, Cory Haas had the advantage and took the low line, sliding into 1st position. The team settled for 2nd place.
 
We look forward to racing this weekend at Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedways.

Adam started 9th in his heat and qualified for the feature with a 6th place finish. On to the feature, starting in 16th position, Adam drove a smooth race and moved up the field ending the night with an 8th place finish. The team is currently 6th in points at Williams Grove Speedway.

Started 6th in heat and finished in 2nd position. The #15 sprinter entered the feature in the 7th position, raced hard with Monteith and Walker before giving up a few spots to end the night with an 11th place finish.

The #15 sprinter started 4th in heat race. After a jumped start from the first row, Adam moved up a row to the outside front row. He moved quickly into the first position, dominating the heat for his first heat win of the season! The starting position for the feature was determined by passing points. Adam was credited with the highest in passing points. He drew a 10 inverting 10 cars. Adam started 10th and moved into the 7th position a few laps into the race. He ended the night with a 7th place finish.
 
Saturday – Lincoln Speedway
 
The night started strong as the car was fast. Adam started the heat in 6th position and within a few laps moved into the 2nd position. 4 laps into the race, the drive line broke and the Wide Open Motor Sports team was unable to make repairs before the feature.
 
We are ready for racing at Williams Grove and Lincoln Speedways this weekend!

The #15 sprinter finished the heat in 8th moving on to the consolation. We started 9th in the consolation and finished in 6th position….not good enough to qualify as they took the top 4.
